What was the highlight of The Busena Terrace
Near from the perfection, I ll put 10 if they correct few things
The place is amazing, breakfast view superb, room superb, the 2 pool between all palm tree make the pool an amazing place to chill. You get saxophone show between 5 to 6 pm. that is very nice. Breakfast buffet is also amazin.g.
2 things : 1/ They do not have charger for iphone, so basically if you want to charge your phone the only way is to give your phone at the reception desk... very strange for a 5 star hotel to not have this ready for customer. 2/ The staff at the pool is not smiling at all, it s more like they are checking you to do something bad ( bad = having a tattoo apparent, making a jump in the pool or having your sunglass during the sliders ) even your are telling them, it s okay i take responsability if I broke my glasses, they want you to take it off, could be better if they could smile more, really you feel they are looking at you from above like you are child waiting to do bad things. ( I wanna say "jun" and another older guy not very tall were 2 pool staff much more smiling and talking friendly with us )

What was the highlight of The Busena Terrace
For over USD 600 per night it just did not meet expectations.
The hotel is well located and has a beautiful stretch of beach. The public areas are spacious and well maintained. The rooms are large and generous and clean overall. Views are fantastic. The breakfast setting with ocean views is truly special. Staff are mostly polite and make an effort.
In terms of hardware, the hotel is in need of an upgrade. Wifi was almost non-existent in our room and by the pool. No USB chargers and you'll have to move the bedside table to charge your phone or any other devices. We found a huge cockroach in the bathroom on day 2. We informed Housekeeping and it was removed with no apology. Breakfast quality was average at best despite a seemingly large selection. In terms of service, we felt that the hotel was lacking management. We only encountered relatively junior staff during the 4 days we stayed. They tried very hard, but clearly need a lot of guidance. Stained uniforms and a lack of attention to detail. Management needs to gets much more hands on here as the hotel has potential despite its apparent age. One can overlook the hardware issues, but not the service shortcomings, especially when a lot of facilities were closed due to the State of Emergency. This would have been one more opportunity to excel at service, but it was missed.
